Kia orana and welcome to my blog this week and term I have been working really hard to Finnish my DLO, My DLO is on slides and is about how my Nana grew up in Mangaia and flew to Auckland New Zealand  in the Air new Zealand plane to live a better life. This also includes my Pepeha which I hope you enjoy and make sure to leave positive comments

I loved reading this book because I liked how she likes to be different and in the end she shows how its okay to be different. My favourite part in the book is the end part where the only time she brings a plain normal sandwich is when her class mates brought weird combination sandwiches.

To start my day this is what I have to say

 The sun is bright and so is light as I look in the sky I saw a kite 

looking to my right I got a freight because someone said they wanted to fight 

I ran away to a band and lived my life as a fan

The season is autumn

 as the leaves are blowing

 And the sun is glowing 

 I wish that it would be snowing 

It has now started to rain 

in my sight i could see a plane 

As I thought with my brain where is the closest train I realised that I was in the wrong walking lane 

Task description: Today we could pick what we wanted to write out of the options on the slide. I decided to go ahead and pick ” a poem about the weather” This took me about 15-20 minutes to write and after that my literacy teacher wanted to hear what we all wrote. Task description: This week for literacy we learnt to do “The Theme & Main idea” I enjoyed this because I liked reading the paragraphs and answering the questions at  the end, this was also my favorite part of this task. I hope to do more tasks like this.

Today room 5 literacy had to read a story from story line and write some questions from the book, the story I chose was Clark the shark your job is to read my book and answer the questions that I have came up with all by myself and my book link is there so it is easier to find, hopefully you like the book I chose and leave a positive comment if you have time, have a good time looking, admiring, and reading my work because I put a good amount of effort into it.

Task description: For today’s maths we are learning about Decimals to thousandths. I was to finish off this google slide and post it on my blog. I had lots of help from friends Tumoe and Taisha , make sure to check out their blogs!!!

 

 

Today we had to complete these slides all you have to do is come up with 3 or more letter words with the letters you are given, this was easy and fun to make I enjoyed doing this, hopefully you like the words that I came up with because it was easy but kinda hard at the same time.

For maths today all the groups had to do a test practice, this was pretty easy and fun but kinda difficult at the same time, my favourite part was actually completing, I still would like to do things related to the task we were giving as it is easy and fun.

Today was the first day of term 4, for literacy we had to do these slides about ” what is a compound sentence” which was surprising fun and very interesting to learn about, hopefully we get to learn more about this hope you enjoy looking at my work.
