Today was the first day of term 4, for literacy we had to do these slides about ” what is a compound sentence” which was surprising fun and very interesting to learn about, hopefully we get to learn more about this hope you enjoy looking at my work.

Today is my last post for term 3, I decided to finish off my cyber smart which we had to do is create Tongan patterns, I enjoyed this so much that I loved every single bit of it, I hope you like looking at my master piece that I created because it took a while to make.

Term 3’s theme for 2023 is “Fit For Purpose”. We have a thing called DLO for DlO we have to animate a person having a fit and healthy morning routine. I didn’t have enough time to finish so I had to post whatever we had left on our blogs.
Today for maths we did level 4 algebra questions here’s how I worked out the question i’m talking about in this video. 4(5d + 6) – 3 = 181 the first thing I do is expand the brackets so its easier for me to solve, so 4 x 5d = 20 and 4 x 6 = 24 now I will be calculating 24 – 3 which is 21 I do this so the number can be smaller and to find out what 20d is. 21 – 181 = 160, 20d equals 160. Now we have to find out what d equals, all we have to do is calculate how many twenty’s can fit into 160 which is 8, 8 equals d. I HOPE YOU ENJOY AND LEARN SOMETHING NEW 🙂

Today we had to do narrative writing, I chose Abandoned haunted building for my topic, this was actually hard but fun at the same time, my favourite part was when I had to pick what to write about and the planning on what to write. have fun reading it because it was difficult and hard to think and write about 🙂
Today for inquiry we had to do these slides that were about “how food affects your mood” this was fun and interesting to talk about, my favourite part was the last slide when we had to chose Mcmuffin or eggs with whole grain toast, I would of chose Mcmuffin but we had to pick eggs with whole grain toast for a good influence.

This morning for maths we had word problems to solve and complete, these were interesting, fun, but some of the questions were quite difficult to work out. My favourite question was the last one, because it was easy and fun to work out.

This morning for literacy we had to watch a video about a boy presenting his speech, I learned many things from it and had fun answering the questions in the bubble text, my favourite part was everything!!
