Story Map for Narrative Text
Today we had to write about a story that we read on storyline online. My book was ” Please Please the bees” I enjoyed this book because it was fun to read and like I said on the last page I learnt that everything can be fixed if you want it you can make it happen.
Term 2 – Transformers
Today was the first day of school term 2 which is the 29th of April in the morning. I went to go and see Mr Burt to ask questions about the Immersion Assembly and I was excited and happy to see him cause I haven’t seen in quite some time. After that the Assembly was about to start so all of the prefects got ready and were waiting until the kids came to give out stickers. Once every team arrived, Blessing did the Karakia and Taisha did her Mihi. After that we could go back and sit in our seats to enjoy the drama which the theme was Transformers . It started with the senior management then went by team 1 to team 5. My favourite drama was team 3 because I liked how bobby john was stuffing his face with chocolate cake. It was funny and very joyful to watch.

My Summarise about Carla’s sandwiches
I loved reading this book because I liked how she likes to be different and in the end she shows how its okay to be different. My favourite part in the book is the end part where the only time she brings a plain normal sandwich is when her class mates brought weird combination sandwiches.

My poem about the weather
To start my day this is what I have to say
The sun is bright and so is light as I look in the sky I saw a kite
looking to my right I got a freight because someone said they wanted to fight
I ran away to a band and lived my life as a fan
The season is autumn
as the leaves are blowing
And the sun is glowing
I wish that it would be snowing
It has now started to rain
in my sight i could see a plane
As I thought with my brain where is the closest train I realised that I was in the wrong walking lane
Task description: Today we could pick what we wanted to write out of the options on the slide. I decided to go ahead and pick ” a poem about the weather” This took me about 15-20 minutes to write and after that my literacy teacher wanted to hear what we all wrote. Task description: This week for literacy we learnt to do “The Theme & Main idea” I enjoyed this because I liked reading the paragraphs and answering the questions at the end, this was also my favorite part of this task. I hope to do more tasks like this.
