Today Room 1 and 5 did a science experiment together. We put 4 mentos peices into a bottle of diet coke. As the Mentos candy sinks in the bottle, the candy causes the production of more and more carbon dioxide bubbles, and the rising bubbles react with carbon dioxide. The diet coke erupted like a volcano.

 

This term room 1 has been learning about measuring. But this was very unique.

We had to measure our foot sizes. To be honest it was funny at the same time but

Kia Orana, Fakaalofa lahi atu my name is Aniqua. My cultures are cook island and niuean. I’m 11 years old and soon to be 12. I love to play sports and only have 1 sibling, Angel’s. My favourite fast foods are my fried chicken and maccas. I love to hang out with my baby cousins, play board games, go out to places like birthdays and housewarmings. My favourite part of MOTAT was the human sized hamster wheel because i liked how it was challenging to run on because it was hard. Who:	Me, my class,room 8,and a few kids from room 10.
When:	On monday the 27 of june
Where:	We went to auckland western springs Motat
What:	Once we got there we got a helper to lead us to our place to eat and bags, her name was grace.we even got helpers to show us around.
Why:	We went to Motat to learn more about coding and technology
How:	It went great. We had so much fun learning new things and going on the train ride. My favourite part was the hamster ride which I fell off twice. ;D
